Overview

Transport Manager required to work alongside our client Southern Health and Social Care Trust, located at Bannvale, Gilford.

This is a temporary post till the end of December 2025, working full time Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate for this post is £23.60 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Trust’s transport fleet—ensuring compliance, safety, and cost-efficiency.
  • Coordinate daily vehicle distribution and schedule maintenance.
  • Supervise drivers and transport personnel, ensuring adherence to policies and high-quality service.
  • Testify to key performance indicators and monthly reports on usage, costs, and compliance.
  • Liaise with Estates, Procurement, and Finance teams for contract management and budget oversight.
What We Need From You
  • Hold a Degree in a Business/Transport/Fleet management related subject or equivalent/higher qualification
  • Have 1 year’s experience working in a transport management role.
  • Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment.
