Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced CPC qualified Transport Manager who demonstrates both commercial and operational expertise. Responsibilities
  • Lead a customer focused Transport Management operation with sound commercial and financial acumen and operational expertise to ensure the site runs efficiently.
  • Drive continuous improvement across all areas of the business including operations, sales, customer satisfaction, health & safety, leadership and the people agenda.
  • Maintain exacting standards for quality and compliance; ensure adherence to O licence and P&L responsibilities.
  • Progress and develop the site through effective management of people; create a collaborative team culture where employees feel part of the business's success.
  • Inspire a culture based on teamwork, recognise and reward exceptional performance, and address underperformance consistently and fairly.
  • Provide clear direction and strong communication skills to guide the team.
  • Support the organisation’s commitment to attracting and developing talent and driving career progression.
