Overview

Our client in Weston-super-Mare are looking for a permanent Transport Coordinator. The role is to join their growing logistics team and coordinate their logistics requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate between the Sales team and logistics providers to ensure deliveries are carried out on time.
  • Release product from various terminals, arrange terminal inductions and monitor drivers’ productivity.
  • Support ongoing logistics operations and contribute to service level improvements as part of a growing team.
  • Be on call on a 4-person rota to cover queries from the night shift (as required).
Qualifications
  • Previous experience of working in Logistics.
  • Hands-on and prepared to get involved.
  • Forward thinking and able to problem solve.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
Work Hours

The role is a full-time, office-based position. The selected candidate will be on a 4-person on-call rota to cover night-shift queries. Schedule: Monday to Friday.
