Transport Consultant - Bristol

Location: Bristol

Hours: Full-time (37.5h/week) or part-time considered

An established and well-respected independent consultancy is seeking a Transport Consultant to join its growing Bristol office. The Role
  • Prepare Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Technical Notes, and Travel Plans to support planning applications.
  • Review site layout plans, provide highways and access advice, analyse traffic and speed survey data, calculate visibility splays, and prepare associated drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Attend design team meetings, liaise with clients, consultants, and local authority officers, coordinate traffic and parking surveys, and undertake site visits and off-site meetings where required.
About You
  • A relevant degree in Geography, Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, or similar.
  • At least two years of relevant post-graduate experience.
  • Strong numerical ability, excellent written English, and confident communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and AutoTRACK.
  • A full UK driving licence (desirable).
  • Experience with junction modelling software is beneficial but not essential.
