Job description
Overview

Staffline is recruiting for a Transport Clerk to join our client's Distribution Centre in Emerald Park, Bristol.

You will be working on a 5 out of 7 day rota. The role requires transport knowledge and will be based in a busy transport distribution office.

Key Details

PAYE pay rates for the first 12 weeks are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday: £12.60 per hour
  • Saturday & Sunday: £15.73 per hour

After 12 weeks the PAYE pay rates are:

  • Monday to Friday: £15.68 per hour
  • Saturday & Sunday: £18.63 per hour
Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate vehicle and load details to drivers using a daily planner.
  • Monitor the accuracy and completion of deliveries.
  • Administer delivery documentation during drivers' debrief.
  • Handle telephone enquiries from customers, drivers, and internal departments.
  • Support additional administrative duties as required by the Transport Shift Manager and operations team.

  • Experience in a transport office.
Desirable but Not Essential
  • Familiarity with Microlise.
  • Interviews are available immediately.
