Overview

Transport Administrator

Salary: Up to £27,000 (dependent on experience) • Location: Coalville, Leicestershire • Hours: Full time, 42.5 hours per week (typically 07:00 - 16:00, Monday to Friday)

Responsibilities
  • Administering applications, payments, and distribution.
  • Monitoring daily transport operations (AM & PM) and communicating updates to customers via text, email, and app messaging.
  • Responding to transport enquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintaining accurate databases, producing reports, and managing late/missed payments.
  • Liaising with drivers, customers, and local councils to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Assisting with the development of school transport services, timetables, and promotional activities.
Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years\' experience in a similar administrative or transport/logistics/customer service role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and transport best practices is advantageous.
