A leading online supermarket is seeking a Transformation Project Manager to oversee critical transformation projects. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver business benefits, and mentoring junior colleagues. The ideal candidate will have project management experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. The position offers competitive benefits including hybrid working options and a range of health and wellness initiatives.
We are at an exciting moment in the development of the Ocado Retail business with a broad base of fundamental business change programmes underway which will step change the capabilities within the business. The Transformation team and delivery of effective change are fundamental to this. The Transformation team is responsible for planning, sequencing and executing a portfolio of exciting transformation projects across the business. The projects range from operational improvements to critical and strategic cross‑functional programmes. The team needs to ensure the organisation is prepared for the upcoming changes and manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of transformation to ensure business benefits are fully realised and changes are successfully embedded. The Transformation Project Manager will have end‑to‑end responsibility on a number of high‑profile high‑impact projects and will involve research, analysis and commercial modelling, project design and ultimately managing projects to achieve their business benefits. The Transformation Project Manager will be able to manage projects autonomously, reporting to the Transformation Programmes Lead. The role may involve managing multiple projects, or multiple workstreams, at the same time. This means a successful Transformation Project Manager will have an agile and flexible approach, and the ability to prioritise whilst working on different projects concurrently. As a key member of the team, the Project Manager may be expected to provide line management, coaching and mentoring for more junior members of the team, as well as championing the Ocado Way for Managing Projects throughout the wider business.
