Training Partner - Manufacturing

Location: Buckinghamshire / Middlesex
Salary: Up to £43,500
Contract: Full Time | Permanent | Onsite

A leading UK engineering and manufacturing organisation is seeking a Training Partner to join its manufacturing division and play a key role in developing the skills, capability, and performance of colleagues across multiple technical teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about training, development, and competency building within a fast-paced, high-precision environment.

The Role

As the Training Partner, you will design, deliver, and continuously improve training programmes for a variety of manufacturing functions. Your work will directly support operational leaders and contribute to a robust internal managment system.

  • Designing, developing, and delivering technical and non-technical training.
  • Creating development pathways and identifying appropriate external/internal training options.
  • Developing assessment tools to certify skills and ensure competence levels.
  • Maintaining accurate training data, records, and skills matrices.
  • Uploading and managing course content on the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Collaborating closely with team leaders to understand critical skill requirements.
About You

You will be a hands-on, proactive Training or Learning & Development professional with experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience delivering training within engineering, automotive, aerospace, defence, or similar environments.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • The ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience developing training materials and assessment tools.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and LMS platforms.
  • A collaborative, organised, and detail-driven approach.
Qualifications:
  • Level 4 (HNC) or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • A Train-the-Trainer qualification is beneficial but not essential.
