About the Role

As a Training Lead, you will play a vital role in developing, implementing, and maintaining training programs that ensure all employees are well-equipped to perform their duties safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with DP World standards.

You will coordinate the trainer team, manage training documentation, oversee onboarding, and work closely with operational departments to ensure training supports daily performance. This is a full‑time, on‑site position.

Who You Are

You are an experienced logistics professional who enjoys helping others grow. You are organized, clear in communication, and confident working both independently and in cross‑functional teams. You take pride in providing high‑quality training, improving systems, and contributing to safe, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and document all training and re‑training activities, and report results to the direct supervisor.
  • Coordinate and support the trainer team to ensure consistent and effective training delivery.
  • Operate, maintain, and develop the training and documentation system (DMS), including archiving required documents.
  • Deliver onboarding programs and ensure successful integration of new employees through theoretical and practical training.
  • Prepare and update training materials as required.
  • Ensure that a safe working environment is taught, promoted, and enforced through all training activities.
  • Support employee evaluation processes from a training perspective and manage related documentation.
  • Continuously improve the training system based on feedback and experience.
  • Support the Quality Manager during audits and provide relevant training documentation.
  • Provide continuous feedback and regular reports to leadership.
  • Participate in weekly meetings and collaborate closely with other operational areas.
  • Maintain and update team boards and communication tools.
  • Ensure data protection and confidentiality during all training‑related activities.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor that fall within your competence and training.
Objective & Responsibility
  • Ensure the appropriate level and quality of training for all DP World employees.
  • Support company policies, quality goals, and the development of the training system.
  • Contribute to safe, compliant, and efficient operations through effective training.
  • Act as a role model for communication, professionalism, and collaboration.
  • Support information exchange between training and operational teams.
Requirements
  • ✔️ 3–5 years of logistics experience
  • ✔️ Strong written and verbal English skills (German is an advantage)
  • ✔️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ✔️ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training activities
  • ✔️ Ability to remain patient, clear, and supportive under pressure
  • ✔️ Commitment to continuous improvement and proactive problem‑solving
  • ✔️ Ability to work independently and manage unexpected issues effectively
  • ✔️ Understanding of safety, quality, and compliance standards
Nice to Have
  • ➕ Experience in training, onboarding, or coordination roles
  • ➕ Familiarity with documentation systems (e.g., DMS)
  • ➕ Knowledge of QHSE standards and 5S practices
  • ➕ Experience participating in audits or supporting quality teams
  • ➕ Strong presentation or facilitation skills
