Job summary

A recruitment services provider in the UK is looking for a Training Coordinator to support training and development for Field Service Engineers (FSE). The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in matching training opportunities with employee needs and knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry. Responsibilities include data analysis and maintaining relationships with project managers to ensure successful training programs. This position is based in Lincoln, offering £18.58/hour with a 6-month contract.

Contract length: 6 months contract subject to extend

Rate: £18.58/hour Inside IR35 PAYE

Work Hour: 37 hours/week

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting a Training Coordinator working on behalf of a leading Energy services company.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out data analysis from the manpower planning tool, I&C planning and regional FS assignments not in the manpower planning tool through direct contact with region
  • Create and maintain good relationship with project managers to ensure best opportunities are available for development of FSE's
  • Understand requirements for mobilisation relevant to the trainee to ensure that mobilisation is planned and delivered
  • Set expectations with trainee and on-site assessor to ensure success against development activities targeted per mobilisation. Activate and deactivate OJT on site witnesses in the competence management system
  • Ensure that employees, primarily Field Service Engineers (FSE), obtain the correct and necessary on-the-job-training (OJT) to develop technical competence within the Competence management system within the shortest possible timeframe, ensuring maximum productivity.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience of matching training and development opportunities with employee requirements.
  • Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry and EHS certification requirements for working onshore and offshore in all locations globally where service work is undertaken (preferable but not necessarily)
  • High level of experience in working in employee development processes and maintaining such processes to ensure development projects are successful and efficient
  • Able to work with staff at all levels both in the local business and all global locations
