We are looking for someone enthusiastic about working in an outdoor environment, dedicated to supporting the Military.Landmarc provide full training and continuous development opportunities, making this a fantastic opportunity to start a career on the Defence Training Estate.

Join our dedicated team as a Training Area Operative and play a key part in helping to maintain a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to train.

Contract: Variable Hours (Minimum 8 hours per month guaranteed)

Shifts: Usually early mornings and late evenings, weekend work will be applicable.

Rota's: Provided monthly to ensure availability

Location: West Tofts Camp, Thetford, Norfolk, IP26 5EP

Main Responsibilities

  • Preparing training areas for use
  • manufacturing and deploying targets
  • driving and operating fleet vehicles
  • Deploy warning systems including training control gates, flags and lights
  • To liaise with all stakeholders to ensure effective training area delivery e.g. Handover / take back of facilities and or ranges with service users and Completing the relevant handover documentation.
  • the Employers representatives regarding training area safety and usage
  • Direct, support and advice training estate users both civilian and military.
