Overview

Trainee Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Sales Executive required to join a leading manufacturer of automated packaging machinery. The successful candidate will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for automated packaging machinery solutions across the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new business opportunities and manage key accounts across the UK.
  • Maintain mechanical engineering product and system sales knowledge with demonstrations, exhibitions, and negotiations to achieve targets.
  • Provide pre‑sales technical assistance and end solution/application support for all customer needs and requirements.
  • Offer after‑sales support services and technical backup to customers in industries such as manufacturing, food & beverage, and more.
  • Work field‑based across the UK with regular visits to customer sites and maintain office presence in Alton when not on the road.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
Qualifications
  • Business‑to‑business sales experience in any capacity, with a desire to focus on an area sales role with an established engineering manufacturer.
  • Internal sales candidates looking to progress into an area sales role are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed, grow, and bring in new business within the engineering/manufacturing marketplace.
