PERMANENT TRAINEE MACHINE OPERATOR MILTON KEYNES - Starting Salary: GBP26,500, rising to GBP27,848 after 3 months

I am recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing organisation based on the borders of Milton Keynes, who are seeking Trainee Machine Operators to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you are:

• A recent graduate in engineering looking to begin your career in manufacturing

• Keen to step away from a warehouse environment into a more skilled role

• Naturally curious, hands-on, and eager to learn

What will you be doing?

• Training period (first 3 months): learning to run production machinery, assisting with packing, and product labelling

• After training: operating machinery to produce high-quality products in the production area

• Taking responsibility for your workstation and ensuring Health & Safety standards are followed

What we are looking for:

• A degree in engineering or fed up of the warehouse environment (or similar) and want to learn something new within the manufacturing industry

• An inquisitive mindset with the willingness to learn

• Enthusiasm, reliability, and a team-focused approach

• Own transport (due to shift patterns)

• Commitment to the required shifts

This role offers a clear training path, a competitive starting salary, and the chance to develop within a supportive, long-established manufacturing environment. Within a 3 - 5 year period you have the opportunity to become a senior machine operator which would take you up to a current salary of GBP36,600. Thereafter there is the option to become a Production Manager.
