Overview

A well-established refrigeration business is seeking a Trainee / Apprentice Refrigeration Installation Engineer to join its team, supporting projects for high-profile commercial clients across the South.

Working under the guidance of experienced engineers and supervisors, you will assist with refrigeration installation works on live sites. This is a role offering long‑term development and progression within a respected, growing company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with refrigeration and air conditioning installations
  • Supporting installation works from site setup through to completion
  • Working alongside senior engineers, supervisors and project managers
  • Adhering to health & safety, environmental and quality standards
  • Assisting with basic installation documentation where required
  • Liaising professionally with other trades and site personnel
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site presentation
Candidate Profile
  • Open to trainee or apprentice-level candidates
  • Suitable for individuals looking to gain engineering qualifications, or those with existing qualifications seeking further site experience
  • Practical, reliable and keen to learn
  • Able to work both as part of a team and independently when required
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • Ideally based in the South East area
