Job description

Our client a successful water company known for their provision of high quality commissioning and pre-commissioning services to a national client base. They are currently recruiting for an ambitious, committed and hardworking Trainee HVAC/Water Commissioning Engineer based in and around the London area. They are ideally looking for someone with previous experience working in engineering role with experience carrying out routine commissioning duties such as balancing air and water systems on various site types. This is a valuable opportunity for a trainee looking to progress into a commissioning engineer role. Consideration will be given to applications from Crawley, Dartford, Basildon, Hertford, and areas with good access to the M25 and London.

Experience & Qualification
  • Ability to demonstrate professional knowledge of water treatment/HVAC commissioning industry.
  • A good working knowledge of the BSRIA guidelines would be desirable.
  • Considerable experience in balancing air and water systems.
  • Ability to analyse schematic drawings and survey reports in order to commission system correctly.
  • Must come from a good water treatment, technical, chemical and maintenance background.
  • Efficiency using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Experience working in a water treatment commissioning role within the water treatment industry essential.
Key Role Will Encompass
  • Commissioning air and water systems.
  • Calibrating equipment to accurately balance water systems.
  • Compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Carrying out service work strictly and in accordance with the client’s specification.
  • Producing accurate reports.
  • Undertaking some water treatment duties to suit business requirements.
  • Liaising with clients as required – building and maintaining a good rapport.

The successful candidate will be focused, committed, flexible and at the same time have good work ethics and complete work within timeline.

Must be flexible with regards to travelling.
