Qualifications

• Band 5 scientist with ability to carry out specialist techniques.
• Experience in a Neuroimmunology, Biochemistry, or Immunology diagnostic or research laboratory.
• Strong analytical and technical skills with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Train other staff in the team on request.
• Meet service requirements and turnaround times of the Department.
• Carry out analytical, technical, quality management and administrative troubleshooting.
• Maintain adequate supplies of reagents and consumables.
• Perform specialist techniques requiring highly developed manual skills.
• Evaluate and aid in the introduction of new laboratory techniques and tests.
