Trainee Engineer
Harrogate - 13- 15 per hour ( 40,00 OTE) + Overtime + Company Pension + Family Run + Full Training + All Expenses Covered

Do you enjoy working with your hands and using tools to build things? Are you looking for a role where you'll receive full training, develop valuable engineering skills, and be part of a supportive team? This Trainee Engineer position offers the chance to join a long-established, family-run business in North Yorkshire that manufactures and installs specialist laboratory equipment across the UK.

As a Trainee Engineer, you'll gain hands-on experience from day one, working on everything from workshop assembly to on-site installations, with occasional travel and overnight stays. In return, you'll enjoy a varied role, ongoing development, and the opportunity to build a long-term career with a company that values and invests in its people.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Using hand tools and power tools to carry out assembly tasks (nuts, bolts, screwing, drilling)
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues during the manufacturing process
  • Travelling to client sites across the UK for equipment installation (overnight stays)

What You'll Need:

  • Hand tools and power tools experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • A full UK Driving Licence (required)
