Qualifications

  • Experience working for an electrical wholesaler, preferably with knowledge of electrical and plumbing products.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other basic IT systems.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop within a purchasing/procurement role.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the procurement team in sourcing and ordering materials and products.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, orders, and deliveries.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes and confirm availability and lead times.
  • Work closely with the project and site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Help identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Track and follow up on outstanding orders or delivery issues.
  • Assist with invoice matching and resolving supply discrepancies.
