Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: KEY ACCESS NI. The successful applicant will assist in the day-to-day duties, learning all aspects of automotive locksmithing. This includes shadowing experienced staff, developing hands‑on skills, and supporting workshop and mobile work as required.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the diagnosis, repair, and programming of vehicle keys and immobiliser systems.
  • Learning how to cut, clone, and program car keys under supervision.
  • Supporting workshop tasks including organising tools, maintaining equipment, and keeping the workspace clean.
  • Helping with customer drop-offs, collections, and basic front‑of‑house communication.
  • Attending training sessions and completing learning modules related to automotive locksmithing.
  • Assisting with mobile call‑outs alongside senior staff when ready.
  • Following health & safety procedures and maintaining professional conduct at all times.
