Overview

The Job Overview: We are looking for a Trainee Warehouse Audio Visual Technician who will be predominantly warehouse based. Ideal candidates must have a strong interest in audio visual and live events. The right candidate should be ambitious and be able to use own initiative to solve problems and learn about new technology. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation and allocation of AV hire equipment
  • Returning, checking-in and testing AV hire equipment
  • Loading and unloading Vans
  • Using hire software
  • Updating software on laptops & PC’s
  • Repairing and making cables
  • Keeping warehouse clean
Requirements
  • A driving licence is preferably
  • Van driving experience is a bonus
  • Live within easy commute of our warehouse (SE15 1LRD)
  • A "willing to learn" attitude
  • You should be able to display that you regularly use your own initiative.
  • A good positive and happy attitude as well as a team player.
  • Ability to work long hours on events when required due to the nature of the events industry.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to resolve issues diplomatically and calmly.
  • You must have the capability to carry and lift AV equipment and staging from vans.
