Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a dynamic and motivated sales executive in Weymouth. The role involves sourcing new business through cold calls and managing existing client accounts.   • Prepare for meetings and provide sales figures and forecasts.
  • Travel to international Trade Exhibitions as required.

An exciting opportunity has become available working in a niche industry as a sale executive. Our client is looking for a dynamic, tenacious and money motivated sales executive who takes great pride in there work.

The role involves sourcing new business and also managing existing client accounts on one of there International Health and Safety or Environmental Titles.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • To source new business by cold calling potential clients, call rate guide: 60 - 90 calls per day
  • To manage and maintain new and existing client account, building and maintaining business relationships, listening to client's requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
  • Managing own email account and data appropriately
  • To liaise with other staff and external contacts as required: internal staff like Publishers, Editorial staff, Circulations, Accounts and other Sales staff. External contacts: Advertising and PR Agencies, suppliers and other visitors to the office.
  • To communicate effectively in writing via email/fax as appropriate to needs of the international audience and preparing by computer.
  • To travel to international Trade Exhibitions when required you will need to hold a full, up to date European Passport at all times.
  • To prepare adequately for meetings and provide sales figures, forecasted sales figures, quotations, personal and company targets or any other data required for weekly sales meetings, monthly sales meetings and team or other ad hoc meetings.
Hours and Holiday
  • 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch.
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and time off over Christmas.
Your Skills
  • You must be money Motivated with a drive to succeed.
  • Take great pride in your work and very thorough.
  • Experience in sales would be ideal however not necessary and full training will be given.
  • Have maturity to work alone and in a group.
