  • Assisting with daily bookkeeping activities, including data entry and invoice processing.
  • Tracking and locating invoices, receipts, and purchase orders.
  • Reconciling bank accounts on a regular basis.
  • Setting up customer accounts and managing direct debit mandates.
  • Supporting payment runs for accounts payable.
  • Processing expenses and payments.
  • Monitoring the accounts inbox and responding to customer/supplier queries.
  • Reconciling supplier and customer accounts.
  • Chasing debtor invoices.

Trainee Accounts Assistant!

£23,000-£24,500 plus company bonus ( Dependant on performance)

Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00. Office based near Harlow.

Our client, a growing business in the world of IT/ Cyber security, is looking for someone who is passionate to join their close knit finance team.

What You'll Do

As a Trainee Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Team with various essential tasks. Training will be given.

  • Assisting with daily bookkeeping activities, including data entry and invoice processing
  • Tracking and locating invoices, receipts, and purchase orders
  • Reconciling bank accounts on a regular basis
  • Setting up customer accounts and managing direct debit mandates
  • Supporting payment runs for accounts payable
  • Processing expenses and payments
  • Monitoring the accounts inbox and responding to customer/supplier queries
  • Reconciling supplier and customer accounts
  • Chasing debtor invoices
Who You Are

We\'re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and a team player!

Familiarity with accounting software (like Xero) is a plus!
