Trailer Technician / Fitters (Skilled and Trainees with relevant mechanical experience) - SPR is a trusted full-service trailer specialist, offering maintenance, servicing, MOTs, quay checks, and 24/7 roadside repairs. We are seeking skilled Trailer Technicians / Fitters to join our well-established and respected team based in Felixstowe, Suffolk.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out on-site servicing and breakdown cover as required
• Preparing trailers in the workshop for MOT inspections
• Attending roadside breakdowns and undertaking repairs/servicing at customer sites
• Performing trailer checks and repairs at the quayside
• Following company procedures, safe systems of work, and Health & Safety regulations
• Working efficiently, responsibly, and in a timely manner
• A C+E licence would be an advantage (training can be provided if required)

About you / Qualifications

• Relevant mechanical/engineering skills and ideally previous experience in a similar role
• Strong time management, reliability, and the ability to perform under pressure
• Full driving licence is required

• Trainee Fitters with mechanical skills can expect to earn between £33,000 - £38,000 per year, depending on experience and overtime
