Yard Controller / Traffic Marshal / Banksman (Logistics) Location: Slough Industrial Estate. Salary: £26,932 per annum. Contract: 12-week temporary to permanent. Shift Pattern: 3 days on / 3 days off. 07:00 - 19:00. 19:00 - 07:00 (rotating days and nights).

An established logistics operation is seeking a reliable Yard Controller to manage vehicle movements and maintain safety within a busy distribution yard. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience working around HGVs and controlled yard environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring and controlling access via the entrygate
• Checking vehicles in and out of the yard
• Directing HGV and delivery vehicle movements safely
• Ensuring compliance with site safety procedures
• Communicating clearly with drivers and site staff
• Maintaining an organised and efficient yard operation

About You

• Previous experience working with lorries / HGVs in a yard environment is preferred
• Experience as a Yard Controller, Banksman, or Traffic Marshal is essential
• Confident managing vehicle movements and site safety
• Banksman training is advantageous but not essential
• Willing to work rotating day and night shifts
