Successful candidates will possess strong negotiation and organizational skills, with at least 18 months experience in the premium drinks sector. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Manage and retain approximately 500 independent Indian Restaurants and some Multi‑site restaurant groups.
  • Negotiate effectively with customers to ensure optimum profile and return (new listings, customer activation, promotional support).
  • Report on and liaise on a regular basis with BCC FSTL.
  • KPIs focused on distribution, volume and brand‑building opportunities.
  • Ability to develop own gap plans to deliver success.
  • True ability to manage and develop relationships across our customer base.
  • Brand priority of Kingfisher whilst leveraging a wider portfolio of Peacock Cider, Bombay Bicycle IPA, Ultra and 5 Walla.
  • Work a minimum of 4 evenings per week.
Qualifications
  • Background exposure to working with premium drinks and selling premium brands within the UK On‑Trade – 18 months minimum experience.
  • Demonstrable evidence of good gravitas, passion, drive, creativity and commercial organisational skills.
  • Understand the importance of working with and influencing 3rd‑party wholesalers.
  • Strong negotiation, organisation and influencing skills to drive commercial success.
  • Track record of developing brands and delivering tangible success via a definite, structured sales process.
  • IT and PC literate – Microsoft / CRM systems.
  • Passionate about beer and food within the restaurant sector.
  • Sound dispenses technical knowledge and understanding.
  • Experience on this channel would be beneficial but not critical.
  • Hindi or equivalent language skills would be an advantage, but in no way a necessity.
  • Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
