The ideal candidate will manage daily activities for the trading desk and month-end processes, requiring a qualified accountant with 2-3 years of experience and a strong attention to detail. Qualifications

• Approximately 2-3 years' post qualified experience in accounting.
• Exposure to day-to-day accounting process work.
• Experience in an international organization is an advantage.
• Background in commodities is a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities for the London trading desk, including daily P&L.
• Responsible for month-end processes to build commodities accounting knowledge.
• Preparation of monthly forward books and P&L for physical trade activity.
• Assist with ad hoc queries from trade and shipping teams.
• Assist in monthly cash-flow forecasting and new system implementation.
