Job description

Over the past 12 years, Maverick Drinks has built one of the UK’s most exciting and progressive drinks portfolios – spanning craft, premium and celebrity-owned brands. We’re known for quality, creativity and for helping modern beverage brands grow, backed by deep expertise in eCommerce and strong relationships across retail, wholesale and on-trade (including Master of Malt Trade).

Now, we’re looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team and play a pivotal role in shaping how our brands win in the market.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll be the main point of contact for a portfolio of agency brand partners, developing and delivering trade marketing and sales execution strategies across retail, wholesale, eCommerce and on-trade channels.

You’ll plan, forecast and implement impactful marketing programmes that drive awareness, trial and sales – while ensuring flawless execution both online and in store.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Developing channel-specific trade marketing and sales execution strategies
  • Planning and forecasting sales projections linked to marketing activity
  • Managing brand marketing budgets to deliver against commercial targets
  • Creating compelling sales tools to support our sales teams
  • Delivering best-in‑class digital, in-store and on‑shelf execution
  • Running online campaigns to boost visibility, reviews and search rankings
  • Analysing ROI, performance data, competitor activity and market trends
  • Supporting retail partner activations and events
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Trade Marketing Manager, ideally within FMCG
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce and digital marketing
  • Commercially minded, with a track record of driving sales through marketing
  • Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple projects
  • Confident communicator who enjoys working cross‑functionally
  • Category experience in premium or craft spirits is a bonus
  • WSET qualification (Higher Level) desirable
