Job Summary

The B2B Trade Marketing Executive role has been created to support the sales team and co-ordinate promotional salon and trade material, creative briefing and in-salon and in-store merchandising. The role will focus primarily on project managing the various trade & salon initiatives that are required to support the retention and growth of B2B customers – domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of trade marketing, social and project management and be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Role Outline
  • You will lead in the co-ordination, budgeting and approval process of all Beauty Works Trade marketing materials for UK & International Beauty Works salons, wholesalers and distributors.
  • You will work with sales and ecommerce teams to update the trading calendar and develop initiatives that help grow those sales channels
  • You’ll work closely with the UK Education team to support on all materials for regional training events and in salon pop up events
  • You will work closely with Sales & Marketing teams to ensure trade promotional requirements are briefed and communicated in a timely manner, are within budget & deliver on trade objectives.
  • You will support the Trade Sales team to develop marketing materials for prospecting and win-back strategies for lapsed customers.
  • You will work closely with the Marketing team to ensure content is being captured in-salon and reposted and spot-lighted on various channels, e.g., social, web and CRM.
  • You will also work closely with the Ecommerce and Trading teams to leverage the new Partner Rewards program for our Trade Salon professional customers and ensure a seamless experience from the Beauty Works trade site to encourage trade sign ups.
  • You will collaborate cross-functionally across marketing, creative, sales, buying, and ecommerce.
Candidate Profile
  • 2/3 years’ experience in marketing role either client-side retail or B2B environment - preferably with hair/beauty experience.
  • Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience of B2B marketing, direct mail, door drops and / or in-store point of sale
  • Excellent communicator – able to give clarity on performance indicators and set direction for strategy
  • An enthusiasm for the Beauty Works brand, its communities and culture
  • Ability to form good working relationships with internal teams and external clients
  • Event & Project management skills and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to switch between projects simultaneously whilst also being able to think longer term
