Overview

Toolmaker Required! Our client is a specialist UK-based manufacturer of bespoke plastic extrusions. On behalf of our client, we are seeking skilled Tool-Makers/Machinists. You will play a key role in the design, production, development, and repair of all tools used. This is a hands-on role that requires precision and initiative.

Package
  • Hourly rate from 16.85
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
  • Overtime: 1.3 pay
Responsibilities
  • Undertake tool design and manufacture, including CNC turning, spark, and wire erosion tasks.
  • Operate conventional milling machines, lathes, and other workshop equipment.
  • Interpret engineering drawings accurately to produce high-quality tools.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of tool design and manufacturing processes.
  • Work independently and as part of the tool-room team to meet production requirements.
  • Training will be provided for the right individual to develop skills
Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a tool-making or similar workshop environment.
