A leading defence organisation in Bolton is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design Tooling solutions for complex weapons and systems. The ideal candidate should have a degree in engineering and experience with 3D CAD tools like PTC Creo. This role offers hybrid working and a competitive salary of up to £56,000, plus a company bonus and excellent benefits.

Salary: Circa up to £56,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2 days per week on-site, maybe more due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer with drive and enthusiasm to join Europe's number one missile system provider to design and develop Tooling solutions for complex weapons and weapon systems across the product lifecycle.
You will be part of a high performing team. You will be creating Tooling solutions on a wide variety of projects. This is a critical role collaborating with wider multi-disciplinary teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions. We are looking for someone with passion and drive to take ownership of all aspects of the delivery of these solutions.
