Overview

Welder Fabricator

The Company

A leading engineering company who specialise in the design and manufacture of special purpose machinery.

The Role

This is a position that will require an experienced Welder fabricator. You must be able to work within a team, either in the main production area or if applicable on a client's site and be aware of all aspects including Health & Safety, Production, Inspection and Discipline.

The work will include the following:

  • Welding and fabrication in stainless steel material 1.0mm - 12mm thickness including pipework/purge.
  • Working from technical engineering drawings
  • Both Tig and Synergic Mig welding processes are utilised.
  • Understand tolerances/bend allowances
The Candidate
  1. City & Guilds Qualifications in Welding and Fabrication/Apprenticeship in a recognised Engineering environment would be an advantage.
  2. Both Tig and Mig welding Experience
  3. Welding and fabrication in stainless steel material 1.0mm - 12mm thickness including pipework
  4. Experience in reading engineering drawings
  5. Understand tolerances / bend allowances
