Job description

Starting ASAP, a fabulous three‑day sole‑charge live‑out nanny role has become available in Welwyn, Hertfordshire.

You will be caring for three happy and active children – two boys aged ten and eight and their sister aged six.

This family is looking for a cheerful and friendly nanny who would like to have plenty of fun – along with providing lots of love and support.

Responsibilities

• Three days per week (not Fridays), days mutually agreed.
• Morning shift 07:00–10:00 to help with breakfast and morning school run.
• Afternoon shift 16:00–19:00 to collect children from school and assist with dinner, homework and bath time.
• Additional two hours per day (morning or afternoon) for household tasks: laundry, tidying children’s rooms, preparing healthy meals, ensuring children have everything for the day, and handling school communication.

Household Support

The family takes pride in their spacious home and would appreciate help with running the dishwasher, occasional errands and other routine tasks. A weekly cleaner is employed.

School Holidays

During holidays the same 24 hours per week will be required, with more flexible timing to allow for day trips and outings. Ad hoc babysitting may be requested and will be paid as overtime.

Development & Play

The parents value balanced development and plan a mix of indoor educational activities (board games, reading, jigsaw puzzles, craft, baking, etc.) with plenty of outdoor play. During holidays, children will also go on outings and visit friends to socialize safely.

Driving

You will need to be a careful and confident driver, hold a clean licence and have a fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.
