Overview

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Adult Therapy Services Department in the Critical Care, Cardiac & Surgery Team as a Band 3 Therapy technician on a fixed term basis for 12 months.

Responsibilities
  • look after patients in the Bristol Heart Institute, who have been admitted for cardiac surgery / cardiology procedures
  • work as an integral member of the Multi disciplinary team
  • join our large and inspirational Adult Therapies Service
  • Support the delivery of effective treatment and rehabilitation plans to enable patients to recover from illness, injury or surgery and be safely discharged from hospital.
  • Contribute to a Saturday service (one Saturday every 4 weeks, with a compensatory day off in the week) and a bank holiday service (2 bank holidays per year).
Qualifications
  • The successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, experience of working as part of a team, and great time management skills.
  • Previous experience of working within the NHS or a rehabilitation setting would be an advantage.
