A leading NHS trust in Cambridge seeks Band 6 Radiographers to join their Radiotherapy Department. This position offers full-time and part-time roles with comprehensive responsibilities, including patient care and support, teamwork, and adherence to high standards. The Radiotherapy Department currently has vacancies for Band 6 Radiographers. This would be ideal for anyone wishing to develop both personally and professionally in a busy and forward thinking Radiotherapy Department. We have two full time posts and one 0.8 WTE part time post. You will rotate through all treatment and pre-treatment areas. You must be HCPC registered, possess a BSc (Hons) in Radiotherapy or equivalent and be fully flexible with shift requirements. Due to the variable nature of the work, you will be required to cover early and late shifts and possible weekend shifts as appropriate.
We currently have two Tomotherapy units, two Varians with dedicated SRS platform, two Varian TrueBeams with AlignRT, all interfaced with Mosaiq in a paperless environment. We also offer HDR and superficial skin treatments within the department. The pre-treatment section comprises two Canon wide bore CT scanners and Raystation treatment planning system.
