A prominent health organization in Wales is seeking a Band 5 Radiographer to join their North Wales Cancer Treatment Centre. The role involves contributing to a high-quality patient-focused service and efficiently delivering radiotherapy treatments. Candidates should have relevant registration and experience in radiotherapy, with the ability to speak Welsh being desirable. Flexible working hours and participation in the on-call rota are expected.
An opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Radiographer to join our team at the North Wales Cancer Treatment Centre.

The radiotherapy department has 4 Varian Linear Accelerators (3 Truebeam, 1 Varian iX which is due to be replaced), Gulmay Orthovoltage Unit, Canon CT Planning Scanner, Prosoma, and an Eclipse TPS, with the addition of Surface Guided radiotherapy systems on all Truebeams.
As a Band 5 Radiographer, you will work within all areas of the department and be fully supported via our mentorship and training programme.
The department currently works an extended day and the post holder would be expected to work flexibly within the hours of 08:00 to 18:30 to cover the operational needs of the department and to participate in the on call rota. Core hours are between 08:30-16:30.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
