Working term time only, this role offers the chance to achieve great work-life balance while building valuable skills in a supportive, professional environment. You\'ll work closely with Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and other specialists to deliver life-changing support for children and young people with additional needs.

About the role
  • As a Therapy Assistant, you will: Working term time only (36 hours per week)
  • Support and deliver individual, group, or class-based therapy activities under therapist guidance
  • Use communication tools such as iPads and Makaton with non-verbal students
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and therapy staff to integrate support into the classroom
  • Show empathy, compassion, and resilience when supporting students with diverse needs
  • Benefit from comprehensive training and mentoring, including safeguarding and autism awareness
