Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support patients in making choices about their care.
  • Escort patients to theatre, acting as 3rd person in anaesthetic room.
  • Inform registered practitioner of patient concerns.
  • Dispose of bodily fluids and soiled linen per Trust policy.
  • Support patients undergoing procedures physically and psychologically.
  • Act as a messenger and porter for required items.
  • Assist registered practitioner with patient admissions and discharges.
  • Support basic life support skills procedures.
  • Restock supplies and maintain equipment.
  • Keep areas clutter-free.
