The ideal candidate must be a part-1 registered NMC Nurse or HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner with recovery experience. Flexible working hours are included, with no routine scheduled evenings beyond 17:30.

Qualifications

• Part-1 registered NMC Nurse or HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner.
• Previous recovery experience required.
• Current UK professional registration is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety/Risk management in the operating department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients receive high-quality treatment.
• Advocate for patients during the intra-operative phase.
• Manage total patient care during the peri-operative phase.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of the theatre and equipment.
