Qualifications

• Must effectively communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
• Caring and compassionate with a professional demeanor.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks.
• Willing to undergo mandatory training.
• Previous experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Transfer patients to and from clinical areas with dignity and comfort.
• Assist with movement and positioning of patients safely.
• Transport equipment and specimens between departments.
• Support theatre staff by preparing and maintaining cleanliness.
• Respond promptly to clinical staff requests in a busy environment.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and use PPE appropriately.
• Report faults or incidents to the appropriate staff member.
