A leading healthcare provider in Chesterfield seeks a dedicated Theatre Porter to support operations within the Operating Theatres. This role involves transporting patients, preparing theatre trolleys, and maintaining a clean environment. Ideal candidates will possess basic literacy and numeracy, relevant care qualifications, and experience in a healthcare setting. A commitment to compassionate patient care is essential. This full-time position requires 37.5 hours of work weekly, Monday to Friday.

A vacancy has arisen within the Operating Theatres working as a Theatre Porter, working 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday.
As part of the multidisciplinary team within the Operating Department the post holder will play a vital role in the day to day operation and smooth running of the department. They will accomplish this by ensuring the facilitation of timely movement of patients between the wards and the Operating Department as directed and assisting with the movement and maintenance of equipment and materials both within the department and the hospital in general.
