A leading retail company in Scotland is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee store operations and enhance customer service. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team effectively and ensure a smooth shopping experience. Candidates must be 18+, and previous retail experience is a plus. This position offers competitive pay starting from £14.76 an hour, with additional night premium for hours worked between midnight and 6am.
The following are the availability windows we’d like you to be, and the hours we will schedule contracted shifts within. The store operates Wed–Sat evenings overnight: 22:00 to 07:00.
Shift Leader pay: our rate starts from £14.76 an hour; this increases to £15.97 for stores inside the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour worked. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but we also have opportunities for those who would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) and would still love to hear from you.
The availability windows shown indicate the periods during the week when we would like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of the exact shifts. We are happy to consider close matches to the advertised times if they suit you better.
