Are you ready to be part of the action behind the scenes at one of the UK’s leading event venues? We’re looking for a Temporary Mains – IT & Mechanical Installer to join our dynamic Technical Events Team on site in Birmingham.


What You’ll Do


As part of the Temporary Mains Team, you’ll play a key role in installing and removing temporary IT and mechanical services for exhibitions and live events. You’ll work to tight deadlines, ensuring all services are safely and efficiently delivered, tested, and removed post-event.


You’ll also:

  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver exceptional service
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety
  • Support other areas of the Technical Events Team as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning & Organisation: Work reliably under pressure with excellent time management
  • Asset Management: Monitor and report on equipment condition, recommending upgrades
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records using both paper and digital systems
  • Compliance: Follow all CBRE Managed Services policies and procedures
  • Health & Safety: Adhere to risk assessments and method statements
  • Customer Service: Represent CBRE professionally and deliver outstanding service

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Forklift licence (desirable)
