Overview

A well-known Yorkshire business based between the outskirts of York and Malton (along the A64) are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis (with the potential to go permanent for the right individual). This role offers an hourly rate of £13 – £15 per hour, plus excellent benefits if it moves to a permanent contract.

Role details

This role can be done on a full-time (40 hour) or part-time basis, with potential hours to suit the individual, as well as business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the finance team with transactional accounts, including purchase and sales ledgers
  • Handling bank reconciliations and general reconciliations
  • Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
  • Providing general support across the finance team when needed
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar transactional finance/accounts role
  • A proactive, self-starter approach who can pick things up quickly
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to support colleagues
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Logistics

This opportunity is commutable from York, Malton, Pickering, Scarborough, Easingwold, and surrounding areas. On-site parking is available, and due to the business's location, the successful individual will need to be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
