Temporary Dealership Accountant in Buckinghamshire

Description

We are seeking a Temporary Management Accountant to produce monthly branch management accounts in the Group standard format. Responsibilities include addressing queries promptly, preparing final year-end trial balances with supporting documentation for audit, submitting annual business plans for each dealership, and assisting management in their development. The role also involves maintaining fixed asset registers, ensuring assets are properly described and their useful lives correctly recorded, reconciling the Fixed Asset register to the Nominal Ledger, and keeping suspense account balances at zero.

The successful candidate will produce action plans in collaboration with branch management to resolve issues within the balance sheet, assess and report on vehicle stock carrying values, and ensure revaluations align with Group policy. Performing full vehicle stock checks as required is also part of the role. Experience with the Autoline Kerridge system is essential.

Note: Only candidates with previous motor retail experience will be considered for this position.
