Overview

Telephone Account Manager – Fully remote. Salary to £27K per annum plus excellent benefits.

Our client, a specialist mortgage lender, is seeking a Telephone Account Manager. This is a customer-centric, sales-orientated role and you will need to be well organised and have excellent attention to detail. Being the first point of contact for broker customers, you will deliver exceptional customer service in a timely manner. To be successful, you will be a persuasive communicator with a strong commercial mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Build lasting client relationships and deliver tailored mortgage solutions.
  • Lead Generation: Qualify and convert inbound leads into sales opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement: Manage queries via calls and digital channels, resolving issues and providing product guidance.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of interactions and opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Partner with KAMs, underwriting, and processing teams to ensure smooth applications and excellent service.
Qualifications
  • Mortgage industry background is essential (from a telephone sales, account management, or customer service position).
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • A target-driven, self-motivated attitude with negotiation and objection handling skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
