Job description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Telehandler / Yard Operator to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a hands‑on, varied role offering long‑term stability for the right person.

This role is based 12 miles outside of Grantham in a rural location therefore own transport is essential.

The working hours for this role are 7am-5pm Monday to Friday.

Key Requirements

• Valid Loadall / Telehandler licence
• Previous experience loading and unloading palletised lorries
• Strong focus on working safely at all times
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, practical and willing to get stuck in

Role Responsibilities

• Operating a telehandler to load feed hoppers
• Loading and unloading lorries and bulk materials
• Filling a range of vehicle sizes with bulk product
• Carrying out general manual duties across the site
• Ripping and tipping materials (including flour for feed production)
• Jet washing containers, equipment, and machinery
• Maintaining site cleanliness, including: General site cleaning, Waste and rubbish removal, Painting and basic maintenance, Clearing weeds and outdoor areas
