An organization supporting independent living seeks a Telecare & Technology Enabled Care Service Officer in Hereford. We are seeking a Telecare & Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Service Officer to join our Independent Living Services team. In this role, you will help adults live safely and independently by supporting the delivery of personalised telecare and assistive technology solutions. You’ll work closely with colleagues, service users, carers, and partner agencies to ensure equipment and support are delivered efficiently and effectively. We are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Telecare & Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Service Officer to join our Independent Living Services (ILS) team. In this key operational role, you will support the delivery of outcome-led personalised telecare and TEC solutions that enable adults to live independently for as long as possible. You will work closely with Occupational Therapists, Assessment & Enablement Officers, and external partners to ensure residents receive safe, personalised, and high-quality services.
As a Telecare & TEC Service Officer, you will:
Respond to changing service requirements while adhering to statutory frameworks such as the Care Act 2014.

Responsible to: Senior Practitioner OT, Deputy ILS Manager, ILS Manager
Professionally responsible to: N/A
Internal: Independent Living Services colleagues including telecare staff, OTs, senior telecare advisors, assessment & enablement officers, social care teams, finance & revenues teams, commissioners, brokers, home improvement agency staff, practice standards leads, and managers.
External: Service users and their carers/families, community equipment store managers, TEC suppliers and specialists, housing providers, NHS colleagues (including Wye Valley Health Trust), statutory and voluntary agencies, and members of the public.
