A water management company in Newbury seeks an experienced Electrical Technician to maintain and repair electrical equipment while ensuring safety standards. Candidates must have an NVQ or C&G Level 3 qualification and significant experience. The position involves 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with additional standby payments. This role is vital in reducing environmental impact and maintaining operational efficiency at the sites.
We seek an experienced Electrical Technician based at our water production sites in East Thames Valley.
As a successful candidate, you will be using your electrical knowledge as well as your experience to inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair as appropriate electrical equipment, in a safe, efficient, timely and effective manner with minimum supervision, allowing us to ensure that all of our sites remain operational for the benefit of our customers.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to Thames Water's environmental impact, and you will be actively helping to reduce pollution from our sites.
Base Location : Speen WTW, Newbury RG14 1RT.
Working pattern : 38 hours per week, Monday-Friday 07 : 30 am - 3 : 30 pm, plus inclusion on a standby rota for which you will receive additional payment.
All PPE, Tools, plus the provision of a Van when on duty and call.
You should be a time-served apprentice with significant experience in electrical systems or with NVQ or C&G level 3 in electrical engineering.
