A city council in Glasgow is seeking two Graduate/Technicians to join their award-winning design team. Candidates should possess an HNC/HND or higher level qualification in engineering or a relevant discipline. The role involves working within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver active travel projects, requiring knowledge of national design standards and project management experience. Glasgow City Council requires 2x Graduate / Technicians to join our award winning design team delivering an exciting city wide programme of active travel projects.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, technicians and other professionals you will have a sound knowledge of national design standards and best practice, managing budgets and monitoring performance against targets. Previous experience of design/project management of multi million pound active travel or public realm projects is desirable.
The post holder will be based at our Glasgow office and participate in our hybrid working pilot. Generous holiday allowance and average earnings pension scheme.
A minimum of HNC/HND or higher level qualification in an engineering or relevant discipline is required.
