We’re on the hunt for a rockstar with a solid background in water or wastewater treatment operations who is a natural communicator and excited to train and assess learners. You will keep customers happy, build strong relationships, and deliver engaging learning experiences to a diverse audience, including apprentices.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Craft and deliver training programmes that inspire and educate learners.
- Design training materials that meet learning objectives and outcomes, and keep packages fun, informative, and engaging.
- Monitor and update delivery products to keep them fresh and relevant.
- Evaluate learners both in the centre and in the workplace to ensure they meet goals.
- Contribute to the standardisation of qualifications to maintain high standards.
- Build and sustain long‑lasting partnerships with customers.
- Deliver impactful learning packages in line with measured standards.
- Observing learners in action and providing constructive feedback.
- Evaluate diverse evidence to track learner progress against defined outcomes.
- Collaborate with the assessment team and Internal Quality Assurers to standardise qualifications.
- Strive for an 80% utilisation rate.
Experience and Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in the water industry.
- Solid maths and English skills.
- Full driving licence.
- Strong understanding of health and safety.
Desired Experience and Qualifications
- Assessor qualification (D32/D33, A1, or TAQA equivalent) or a plan to obtain one.
- Level 3 Training and Education qualification or similar, or working towards it.
- Experience designing and delivering training materials.
- Proven track record of delivering qualifications and apprenticeship programmes.
- Coaching and facilitation skills with a passion for motivating others.
- Highly organised and capable of juggling multiple tasks.
- Effective communication skills at all levels.
- Creativity in designing training materials that make learning stick.
- Proficiency in assessment techniques and measuring success.
- Team‑player who thrives in collaborative environments.
- Comfortable using email, PowerPoint, and Word.
